Home sometimes feels empty, like part of it is missing, and let's be honest it is.
My Husband's away at Basic and on his week 7 right now. On June 6th, a family friend lost both of her parents, it was my first weekend with Hubby home and it was monopolized by phone calls, crying, and a whole bubble of sadness all around.
I've been struggling with sleeping after hearing about the deaths, and attended the funeral/wakes last week.
I'm working on purging through everything to get rid of as much as I possibly can, in preparation for when we move, and just to be more appreciative of our home. I'll be getting rid of little one's toddler bed hopefully tonight, as I should be receiving a free twin bed that is in mint condition tonight! I am very excited for this, and the possibility of her room looking more big girl, after tidying up her room ... again!
It should be a busy week with getting stuff done around the house, I am on top of laundry, and have been doing fairly well with dishes. I have some banana bread to make this week, and we ordered a pizza last night.
My girls (and me) have both scorn our carpet to an unusable gross-ness state, and the time has come for me to replace it. Over this week or next I will be looking at purchasing a new one.
Until next time; home for me is a disorganized, cluttered, anxiety ridden location.
PS its been almost a week since I heard from Hubby :(
